WESTSIDE ROAD VINEYARDS

welcome to healdsburg, california

Take Highway 101 north from San Francisco through Sonoma County's wine country and you'll find yourself in Healdsburg, California.  Voted one of the "Best Small Towns in America" by Architectural Digest and Smithsonian magazine, Healdsburg caters to the influx of tourists that come to visit one of the most gorgeous areas in all of wine country. Westside Road runs south from Healdsburg and meanders through the rolling hillsides and vineyards that the Dry Creek Valley and Russian River Valley have become famous for.  Sitting at the intersection of these premier wine growing appellations is our Westside Road Vineyard estate, where we grow Pinot Noir, Zinfandel, and Petite Sirah.

VINTAGES

WHAT WE grow, PRODUCE AND SEll

The vineyard sits at the southern end of Dry Creek Valley, known for its high quality Zinfandel and Zinfandel blends.  Just a half mile to the south is the Russian River Valley, one of the most well known appellations in the United States growing Pinot Noir, and rivaling that Burgundy.  In 2010 a reporter from the Wall Street Journal published an article titled "The Rock Stars of Pinot Noir" and labeled Westside Road the "Rodeo Drive of Pinot Noir."  On the estate we planted and grow both of these varietals.  Pinot Noir clones 115 and 777 from Burgundy were planted to replicate the classic earthy flavor while adding in the bright flavors and aromas that Sonoma Pinot is best known for, and Zinfandel and Petite Sirah were planted to highlight the light, fresh, and aromatic style.
